Help Bring Holiday Joy to Kids in Foster Care

Every child deserves to wake up on a holiday morning and unwrap something picked just for them. This year, we're inviting individuals, families, and businesses across Illinois to join our 2026 Holiday Toy Drive and help bring that joy to more than 200 children and teens in our care.
The holidays are a season of connection and celebration. A gift chosen with a child in mind, based on their real interests and what excites them, helps make them feel special and appreciated.
You can help make sure every child in our care has something to unwrap this year.
How You Can Help
Shop our Amazon Wish List, made up of items the children have asked for or their foster parents know they’d love!
A few things to know before you shop:
- Gifts should be new and unused
- Mark each gift with the child's code (painter's tape works well) so it reaches the right child
- Please leave gifts unwrapped
- Donations of wrapping paper, bows, and gift bags are also welcome
Prefer to give directly? You can:
- Donate a gift card to Walmart or Amazon
- Make a financial contribution to One Family Illinois
Every dollar donated goes toward making the holidays bright for a child in foster care.

- Gift drop-off deadline: Friday, December 7
- Drop-off location: Chicago Village, 7600 S. Parnell Ave., Chicago IL
- Please coordinate your drop-off time and location with our staff in advance
If your group can't fulfill all the wish lists you were assigned, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reassign those children to other donors, ensuring every child receives a gift this holiday season.
