One Family Illinois Earns the Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency 2026
One Family Illinois has earned Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency for 2026, the highest level of recognition awarded by Candid to non-profit organizations. For more than four years in a row, One Family Illinois has achieved “Platinum,” the highest seal followed by gold, silver, and bronze.
The Platinum Seal provides prospective donors with the comprehensive information they need to make well-informed decisions when choosing to support top-rated charities—like One Family Illinois.
Candid maintains the world’s largest database of nonprofit organizations. In 2026, fewer than 1% of U.S.-based nonprofits earned the Platinum Seal. To be included in this elite group, One Family Illinois met Candid’s most rigorous standards for transparency, accountability, and public openness.
“We are honored to once again receive the Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency,” said Delphine Rankin, Ed.D., Chief Executive Officer of One Family Illinois. “This acknowledgment is a testament to our commitment to transparency and accountability, core principles on which our organization was founded.”
To earn the Platinum Seal, nonprofit organizations must meet an extensive set of criteria, including:
- Providing complete and accurate information about their mission, programs, finances, and governance on Candid
- Sharing strategic priorities and measurable impact
- Being open to feedback and engagement from the public
- One Family Illinois fully discloses its mission, finances, leadership, and impact, to build trust and confidence among the families we serve, our donors, and our community partners—and because transparency isn’t just best practice, it’s the right thing to do.
